Agreement

By using vlfurgerson.com or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are between you and V.L. Furgerson [and Firewind Press, if trading under that name].

Orders and payment

All prices are shown in [US dollars] and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may cancel or refuse any order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud, and we will refund any amount already paid.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.

Digital products

E-books, audiobooks and other downloads are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, share, resell, upload or distribute them. Because digital files cannot be returned, all sales of digital products are final once the download link has been delivered, except where the file is faulty or the law gives you a right to a refund.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders for A Blood Price are charged at the time of ordering unless stated otherwise. Release dates are estimates and may change. If a pre-ordered item is delayed by more than 30 days beyond the announced date, you may cancel for a full refund.

Signed and personalised items

Personalised inscriptions are written exactly as you enter them at checkout, so please check spelling before you order. Personalised items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Intellectual property

The text of A Blood Price, the cover art, the V.L. Furgerson name and logo, and all other content on this site are protected by copyright and trademark law and belong to V.L. Furgerson or her licensors. Short quotations for reviews and commentary are welcome with attribution. Anything more requires written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site in a way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, that attempts to gain unauthorised access to any system, or that scrapes or copies content for commercial use, including training machine-learning models.

Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or of any product purchased through it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country or state where you live.

Governing law and contact
