Processing time

Orders for in-stock items are normally dispatched within [3–5] business days. Signed and personalised books take a little longer, usually [5–10] business days, because each one is inscribed by hand. Pre-orders ship on or around the release date.

Shipping destinations and costs

• United States: [$X flat rate], free on orders over [$X]. Typical delivery [3–7] business days after dispatch.
• Canada, UK and EU: calculated at checkout. Typical delivery [7–21] business days.
• Rest of world: calculated at checkout where available. Typical delivery [10–30] business days.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs duties, import taxes and any handling fees for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number where the service provides one. If your parcel has not arrived within 10 business days of the top of the estimated window, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.

Returns and exchanges

If you are not happy with a physical item, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused and in its original condition. Contact us first so we can send return instructions; unsolicited returns cannot be processed.

Return shipping is at your cost unless the item arrived damaged, defective or was not what you ordered, in which case we will cover it.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the return reaching us.

Items that cannot be returned

• Digital products (e-books, audiobooks, downloads) once delivered.
• Personalised or custom-inscribed books, unless faulty.
• Items marked final sale at the time of purchase.

Damaged or lost parcels

If a book arrives damaged, email firewindpress@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and the packaging, and we will replace it or refund you. Parcels confirmed lost by the carrier will be replaced or refunded in full.

Books bought elsewhere

Copies bought from Amazon or any other retailer are covered by that retailer's own returns policy, and should be returned to them.
